A Bad Decision

It was the beginning of May. The busy streets of the fifth avenue were filled up more than usual. Students were squeezing their bodies in these crowds. Usually, New York is a sunny place but that day it was unusually windy. The street eventually became empty and a thin man came to view. The wind caressed his cheeks tenderly. The man shook his head driving away his thoughts to then vanish to the next street.

Reporter speaks - " A man of age 25 called Paul is missing from the beginning of May and he was last seen by Mary. Investigations are going on and kindly call 5689268990 if you see him anywhere "

........

(Loud music) (You make me a believer, believer .. PAIN!) (Music stops).

Paul - Please leave me.

Unknown - Ha! Never...

Paul becomes unconsicuous.

Mary reaches home late. Her mother had prepared her a bread toast. It tasted like heaven after the long travel from Fifth Avenue to Manchester. She missed Paul. Why did she scold him? Did he feel bad and break up with her? It was not her mistake! How could he roam with another girl?

Paul was tired. He had been running from the kidnappers for past an hour. They did not seem to let him go. Suddenly he felt someone behind him. He turned. There stood that monster, the leader of the kidnappers, Ron or so. Paul stared at him with fright. Then after a minute or so he felt a piercing in his stomach. He looked at his stomach to find it bleeding and a bloody knife fell down. He fainted and died at the sight of blood before seeing that rascal who had separated him and Mary.

.... Reporter -

"Mr. Paul died. RIP. His body was found lieing near a school. A bloody knife has also been found. It is a murder".

.... Famous detective John Smith enters.

Smith - 'Have you checked the fingersprints on the knife George?

George - Yes sir, the killer must be a beginner or he would have wiped the knife before leaving.

Smith - True! Now check whose finger print is that as soon as possible! It may be there the 'young criminals list' who have been caught doing small crimes.

George - OK sir!

..... After a few days.

(On call )

"Sir, the criminal is Ron Humber."

"Good! Search him and Bring him to me."

.....

Ron was afraid for the first time. The investigation was done and he had told the detective that Mary was the culprit. Would she kill him now? He wanted to run away.

.....Reporter -

"Detective John Smith has found the culprit. It was Mary, Paul's girlfriend. She was aroused suspicion from the beginning. She has revealed the reason also. It seems that She and Paul loved each other but one day she saw him roaming with another girl. To teach him a lesson she told Ron to kidnap him but instead, he murdered him. Both Mary and Ron are behind the bars ."

Mary was sad, really sad. She did not mean to kill Paul and now there she was counting the number of bars in the horrible prison. She lost Paul because of one mistake. Oh Paul! Sorry!!
