Worldly Life

The world is an evanescent stage,

All and sundry will die after an age,

Give the pre-eminent performance you can,

Be self-reliant, don't rely on any other man,

Honest people are arduous to find,

With virtuous ones, you must bind,

People will go on the way out and leave you alone,

You turn towards God and in His worship, you drown,

People will break you, 

People will make you,

Don't be a fool,

Always stay cool,

You will encounter many ups and downs,

You will perceive people's frowns,

Be benevolent and in the service of God's creatures,

Treat them with kindness and be preachers,

At times you will have to walk solo on the path,

This predominant walk makes you strongest on the towpath.
