Wishing For The Pie In The Sky

The wounds that you gave are invisible, but trust me they are so deep,

They are hurting me from inside, and not letting me live,

Your absence is painful, it is not easy to bear that stinging ache always,

I know you barely care about what I am going through,

My tears are just like irritating melodrama for you,

Your selfishness taught me how important it is to be you, 

But there is always an option of healing before it causes cancer,

I am at the phase where healing is not easy like the Sunday morning, but not impossible too,

Maybe the world will not see the same color of that butterfly that you own once,

But I am sure she will fly again, even without you, 

Because she knows waiting for you is like wishing for the pie in the sky!!!
