Wishful Thinking

I don't want the sad part of our story,

So I remember the good times,

So I cherish the golden moments,

While erasing the thoughts of the bitter ending,

Crossing off the path that lead to the ending,

And just pretend that we'll see each again one day,

And pick up from where we lost our balance,

That's what I keep telling myself again & again,

Even if we don't, even if we don't ...........,

Because I had to stop the brooding & aching !
