Winter's Fire
Winter's Fire
Winter asked me to walk away,
All I ever wanted was to stay.
The night was breathing purple and blue,
If you were there, you would have seen it too.
The air now picked up its speed,
Blowing the amber flowers and their seeds.
The stars peeped through the clouds still,
The birds returned to the barren hill.
My soul burnt and cut by the world's desire,
Mended itself in the Winter's fire.
