Why Did You Let Me Go

I know you had always cared for me and loved me like anyone could do ever

You had been always there for me supporting and been my strength pillar

I kept chasing the wrong people,

But you never gave up wiping my tears for all the heartbreaks that I survived

You tried to console me that they didn’t deserve me,

But you never introduced your love for me

When the world could see the love in your eyes for me,

You showed me how love was finally meant for mine

I lost you on the path that I traveled alone

I looked back, you smiled and told me to go

The journey was so awful, without you by my side

And now I realised what it means to be without you

I came so far and now I wished if you could only hear

You told me we’ll always be together, how did you let me walk alone

No words to describe the pain that I now suffer

Maybe I was not worth of your true love for me

This loneliness I now feel explains it all.
