Who are we really?

We are not a name,

A height or a weight

Or a gender. 

Who are we really?

We are not an age,

Or a blood group

We are not, from where we are. 

Who are we really?

Are we, our favourite books?

Are we the songs stuck in our heads?

Are we the breakfast that we eat on Saturday mornings? 

Who are we really?

We are not a thing,

We are not a face

We are not a power. 

Who are we really?

We are a thousand things,

That we really are

But everyone chooses,

To see a million things

That we are not.
