Where Are My Stars?

Bewitched,

Amused,

Enchanted,

Enthused,

He counted

His steps,

He fitted

His specks,

Garnered his spirit,

Stretched his limit,

Looked up

And screamed,

“Oh! daddy”;

He beamed,

“Happy birthday to you.

I got a gift too.

And one also for mama mine,

Do tell her I'm fine.

She must be worried,

If I have studied;

And had my dinner;

And offered prayer.

Tell her I’ll make her proud,

Though the world’s a crowd.

To both of you,

This life I owe”

The sky showed love

But had tears above!
