When The Joker Laughed Loud...

When The Joker Laughed Loud...

In empty streets, darkness creeps,

Howling dogs and vermin's roaming,

Day or night, the fear-stricken caged,

Has hell descended or heaven of reckoning.

A small figment of life,

With malice tore,

The garment of humans, mighty and pretentious,

The superior species is on its knees, whimpering,

Mocked the bleeding tall trees, arms cut to warm their house,

Yes, said the tiger and elephants,

They sawed off our skins while we were still alive,

The Nature rejoiced and reclaimed,

The places hitherto lost.

The end has not come, not for the pure of heart,

But a new dawn shall herald a pure mindset,

The masks of hypocrites shall be burned,

While the joker, who beaten and battered,

Rubbed off his face with tears and smile,

Long had he suffered and in darkness lay,

Mocked and hounded for things not done,

Justice was being done, by Lord and providence,

Truth shall wear the flag again.

The pounding waves and the howling winds,

Created symphony for the death of the small minds,

The Hand of Lord had to rise, to save Nature and Earth,

A lesson needed to be taught,

Of respect and equality, none mightier or smaller,

The world is in a state of coma, of fear and insecurity,

Praying that they shall change themselves,

But judgement is still pending,

While the joker walks on empty streets,

Laughing and saying " Now the joke is on you".
