When A Soul Met Other...
When A Soul Met Other...
When a Soul met Other.
With a worried mind and eyes dim,
Maiden, willy-nilly she met him.
Marvelously, to her surprise
His dazzling smile broke the ice.
Presuming extra assistance,
He started what and how.
With ears numb, and lips dumb,
She murmured just 'Wow'.
He was warning her,
To be sincere and punctual.
She got busy analyzing
The frequency of his intellectual.
He was a bit reluctant to speak.
Whenever he, she reached the peak.
He being momentous of vocation
And she, weak at her emotion.
She’d love to share
Whatever she got there.
He would formally respond.
For him, she was nowhere.
Mostly though courteous,
Overburdened by work
Sometimes, he’d shout on her
For she wouldn't mind ever.
One never knows where
The woman's heart would lie.
Sometimes on gold or diamond
Sometimes just on a butterfly.
Gazing his radiant smile,
Dreaming of him every while.
Her endless imaginations
Streamed like the Nile.
She felt, never been
Counted by him ever.
Nesciently he began
Floating in colours of her.
Magnetically he was
Attracting her soul.
Neither had she, an idea
Nor his own foul.
It's pretty queer,
If hurt, she burst in tears.
And laughing loudly
His eyes blear.
Neither in fond of his looks,
Nor in lust of his body
She was an altruistic entity,
Dying over his simplicity.
Irresistible she, kept
Thinking of him madly.
And her decade dead
Desires turned deadly.
He seemed her a butterfly
Who’d set her heart high
Afraid of flying, to touch
She would never try.
He was the light, he was the night
A 'Ray' to pull her out of the plight.
He was the inner deep pain
Uniting, ‘The Scattered Her’, again.
An accidental touch of him,
Aroused her intimate whim
For that matter, her soul
Already with his, did swim.
Eventually, they started
Meeting behind cell screen.
Her joy was boundless
Having a mate, her life within.
Arisen a will to have him
Alone, in her desperate mind.
She urged, prayed, bargained,
Time for her, he would find.
Dreamt of her hand, he’d hold
He’d born, from the distinct mould.
She was beyond every threshold
Alas, He, the man of limits unfold.
To his mercy, a fine noon
He knocked on her door.
Jumping in joy, she
Almost fell on the floor.
Six feet and an inch
Was right in front of her
Overwhelmed, she caught
In the door, a finger or more.
It’s like an ardent devotee,
Mapping a rout to temple
Almighty reveals at home
Astonishing her to crumble.
Fasten was her breath,
Mind wrapped in a wreath
She served a cup of tea.
And thanked for the fulfilled plea.
He disappeared suddenly
The way he'd come.
Leaving her flattered,
As after having rum.
She felt around, like
Jasmine had shower.
For he had gifted her
The happiest hour.
Her body breathed,
In the fragrance of him
Her soul danced,
In a rhythm of him.
Weaving a beautiful poem
Of two lives, She was the one
To scratch down or make an epic
To decide, it was his turn.
He walked away
With his soul behind.
To meet the one
made him truly unwind
A soul met other,
at such a stage of age
Where every dream,
Seemed to be a mirage.
