Have you noticed the sun
Resting after late
He of course can't give reasons
For a minute can't you wait
In the dark expanse
The moon spreading light
Though he does not posses his own lustre
He brightens the ever dark night
A brave soldier
Does nothing for his own
He fights his enemies with valour
He does not neglect his duties or groan
Our parents always give us
Unconditional love and protection
They correct our mistakes
And point us in the right direction
Friends make our life
More interesting and funny
They never desert us midway
They encourage us to fight the evil away
After all this,
I wonder what we gave in return
We can respect their presence
For all that they've done
