What They Didn’t See

What They Didn’t See

They told me stars were silent, but I heard their midnight song.
They said the moon was broken, but I knew they were wrong.
They claimed the world was harsh, a place not meant for me,
But I saw light in every shade, and joy in what could be.

They feared the woods were eerie, too wild to truly see,
But I heard the leaves in whispers—soft nature’s symphony.
They called the sky too distant, too far to ever reach,
But I felt dreams beneath its hue, with stories it could teach.

They said my heart was fragile, too easy to undo,
But they forgot that quiet souls can be the strongest too.
They warned me not to wander, to keep my spirit tame,
But I was born for wonder—not for silence, not for shame.
