Down seeping into the soul


Soul arouses a myriad feelings

Feelings expressed in verbosity

Verbosity short, lengthy, crispy

Crispy to twist hearts many


Many use Allegory, blank verse.

Verse-Haiku, Lyric, Sonnet, Imagery,

Imagery that uses figurative language

Language appreciated, loved, assimilated, centuries.


Centuries gone, Poetry still holds

Holds a special place in mind

Mind to create, giving birth

Birth to thoughts, new Poetry.
