What A Wonderful World!

I see the hills break the distant skyline

Tranquil and tapering

In majestic repose

I see the expanse of land that stretches

Lush and green - promising

Harmony and growth

I see the relentless rivers and streams 

Babbling and burbling

In endless haste

I see the clear blue sky so vast and infinite

Like an enormous roof

So generously bestowed

I see the deep blue ocean that sparkles

Like a billion diamonds

Lie scattered beneath

I see the trees standing tall and proud

Like silent spectators

Rooted for years in the ground

I see the different hues of green

As the leaves dance happily

In the morning breeze

I see the yellows, the whites, the purple and pink

Of the beautiful blossoms

That a season doth bring

I see the beauty in the day to day things

From the dewy morn to the moonlit nights

And a sun that sets to timely rise

A creation I see that's mystical, enticing

And I say to myself

What a wonderful world!!
