Indispensable

Every morning  you see me, clear and crisp

Your eyes read me, your hands fondle me

But once you are done, you leave me aside

Feeling lost and unwanted, I cry inside

When I'm in your wallet you keep me safe

You look happy to see me, I'm your saving grace

You count and calculate before we part ways

The more you see me, the brighter your face.

While in your office, you seem angry with me,

You scratch me, you crush me and throw me in the bin

Once you got furious and ripped me apart

 I didnt know why, but you broke my heart

You use me in different ways in your life

My absence sometimes could cause a strife

You color me, print me and still abuse me

At times you stamp the daylights out of me

Once you said 'paperless' to get rid of me

In an attempt to go digital, thought you'd forsake me

In a bid to prove it possible, you went on an overdrive

But I emerged even stronger with the anti-plastic drive.

I am useful in your daily life, you need me you'd agree

So why not find more ways and means to make and let me be??
