Voice

As my grandmother describes "The first time I heard his voice was through a rotary phone, 

He accidentally dialled our house number, luck was neither my parents were home 

His voice I remember was deep, husky but also, as if in pain, monotonous 

I heard his story without uttering a word, heartbroken he was

The next day my father received the telephone, answering with his sharp, penetrating voice disconnect it at once,

He called for days, my father disconnected for the same,

It was not long when he stopped calling,

And the hope for listening to the angelic voice for the last time calmed. "
