Vivid Dreams Of You

I had a vivid dream of you last night. 

We were watching the sun set behind the mountains. 

Time seemed to stand still. 

The clouds floated and drifted by so slowly. 

Everything was so surreal. 

It’s always this way when I dream about you. 

We could be laughing in the sunshine or laying hand in hand under the glow of the moon. 

It doesn’t matter where we are as long as I’m with you. 

I’ve tried to capture these moments when I’m asleep. 

Lock them away safe in my heart. 

They make it feel like you’re here even though we’re miles apart.
