Verses of Happiness

Verses of Happiness

You've smelled the mild dawn,

And danced to the first rays of the day.

You've filled you lungs-

With the fragrance of jasmine

And adorned yourself with the same.

You've waited three summers

To be happy again.

To sing a song that was forgotten,

The dance steps that left your feet

Have finally gotten you to groove.

Rain doesn't make you feel-

The heart clenching pain

You once felt.

But now you wish to relive your life

Under the heavenly shower,

And experience the joy

You've been waiting for.

You are made up of nothing

But when you fall in love,

The nothing feeling is eaten

By a something feeling,

Which is eaten by an

Everything feeling.

You've learnt to love yourself,

You are in love with yourself,

Because you know your flaws

Make you.

You've walked miles away from

The darkness, that once resided in you.

All the days of gloom and glory,

And all the nights spent in ill manifestation,

Are now a piece of the past

Which will be lost completely.

You're happier now,

And you shall be happy forever.
