I’ve been spoilt to desire

The ‘unattainable’.


The pinnacle I wish to climb

Or depth I yearn to dive.


Perfection I go on seeking

Despite the imperfect, no denying.


That, which can’t be attained

What if it can’t satiate?


Will I then learn that destiny

Is a variable,

Meant only to be chased?
