truly it breaks
truly it breaks
Truly it breaks
What does it all mean when you say
It’s all over today?
In an awe of silence
I can hear a crack inside
The crack of a fracture
As if a bone in my heart
Apparently succumbed due to the weakness
Of the burden of a sudden solitude
I have learnt that the heart has no bones
But today after you uttered, you are going far away
It breaks, Yes it breaks and despite it all
I don’t know if someone is available to fix me a plaster
As you turn, my heart mutters while my lips
Just shiver; the mind finds no rational reason
As to why you are leaving me behind,
Now when we have just begun, to feel in love
As you leave as you go walking steps away
My soul sends a call of distress
Perhaps seeing the plight of my own self
Your mind would urge your heart not to leave
But the distance between us is physically growing
And I’m finding my world suddenly crumbling
In pieces, in smaller units, in drops of tears
Because you left where, you left there, all
With an un-mending heart
