True Courage Doesn't Mean Having The Strength to go on

When you lose anything important to you,

There is one thing you must never be tempted to do,

You mustn't ever let ill-ease reside,

You must stand firm to face the rising tide. 

It can be hard when it seems as if things are falling apart,

I know that I can certainly relate,

Persistence and patience must be treated as works of art,

No matter the situation which you may state.

I lost many things whether friends or a certain goal,

There were many times when it almost took its toll,

Yet I realized that if I was to allow defeat,

There's no telling what consequences others, myself included might meet.

While frustrating all you can do is wait,

Even if it may seem the worst is to be in store,

If you're like me those works of art are not a common trait,

But like me, you must realize that such facts you can't ignore
