True, But Strange
True, But Strange
A dark night,
As them say
I was born
Never felt my presence
Not until
Made to drag my body
Tiring, it was
I blossomed.
Harsh realities
Polluted environment
Materialistic world
Toughened me
Me!
My own sculptor.
Racing past scuffles.
Lo! There she was
My alter ego
Lost the world again
Happy moments
My real birth
Years went by
She withered
Lo! I cried
A great loss…
As they say
Life is ephemeral!
Moments passed – decades
Lone in the abyss
In great agony & pain
I lie
Getting late
When shall I die?
I know not
But then,
Will I cease to exist?
Or
Was I ever born!
