TREE IN ME
TREE IN ME
I came across a large aged Banyan tree,
As I was wandering in the wilderness,
For I was observing the large tree,
I wept, for I was looking it into myself.
Some branches were strong and Fierce,
Yet few of them were loose and crooked.
An incident of my past came to my mind,
While it was reflecting in this large tree.
The roots of tree, raised and exposed,
Part of the trunk were cracked to see,
For my heart was one and the same,
Looking at myself in aged Banyan tree.
The crows and eagles made home above,
Causing little sparrows to flee,
I have let the predators chase my dreams,
The mirror of my soul, aged Banyan tree.
In the spring, the flowers Will bloom,
Fruits will attract the bees and ants,
All the people I loved once here,
Came in the form of aged Banyan tree.
