Together A Perfect Fit

Broken, lost and abandoned I was; 

Scattered to pieces.

Years, I bounded myself in four walls

Sobbing my heart out day and night,

No one looked at me or heard my pleads. 

Bit by bit I gathered myself,

Tried so hard to fit in a place.

I made myself together

Yet, I missed the piece that fits. 

With an empty heart

And the sorrowful trails

I moved on, to live.

I chose to fly higher

And dreamed big.

Remembered and forgotten the times are

Of my soul that was tortured and split.

Craving for a soul so alike,

I found a soul similar to me.

No perfections touched my life,

Imperfections paved a way for me to meet him.

Relieved, I felt in his presence 

Happy, when he accepted me. 

Life made me suffer because

I should be thankful for a blessing like him.

You were the lost piece of me,

That for long I have missed. 

You and I are no perfect,

We are jigsaws of life

Brought together by fate and destiny, 

To complete each other.
