Houses Of Tomorrow

Houses Of Tomorrow

2 mins
266

I see several houses around me,

Of a variety of colors and shapes.

They all have a different story to tell,

And I keep wondering if I could listen.

They speak in a language, I don’t know of,

Are they talking secrets? Or are mocking us?

A mystery, that I am yet to uncover.

Houses of tomorrow, people call them.

The city I live in changes every day.

These houses are the kings,

A story that I tell, is of the fear,

Of being afraid of deprived shelter.

A basic need of all the living,

A place to stay is all the need.

Houses of Tomorrow, show mercy!

Only to the ones who are loyal and true.

Destroy the rest, and make this house a better place.

It’s no authority but a rent,

Borrowed today, given tomorrow,

Before, to leave.
