Today Is A New Day
Today Is A New Day
The surge of baffling difficulties,
Wash all over me yet again,
Making my head weigh more, or so it seems,
And my breathing becomes frighteningly erratic,
But they reign only for a short time,
As if there had been a momentary lapse,
For I soon tell myself with fortitude,
That today is a new day,
So I start again with a newborn hope,
And courageously march on with an inspired spirit.
