TO MY BELOVED CHILD

I listened to the patter of that tiny feet

Last year's Diwali, 

Oh! It was so amazing

Fabricated him in that beautiful attire

Aww! How endearing he was looking

Cuddling into my arms

in my lap slithering

Those tiny fists and little hands

With mini foot like that of a king

Now he has become a toddler

Playful and enlightening

Full of excitement he is 

Always joyful and delighting

How keen and curious he is 

To know more about the things

I love to see him around

Aww! How exuberant it is.
