Time Flies

Since childhood, they told us to be the scholar,

And always scolded when dirt gets hitched on the shirt's collar,

They gave importance to bookish knowledge,

In-spite of practicality that sharps the edge of our skill,

When puberty hit us, they say be careful,

Rather they should've asked us to be cheerful,

Talking to a physically growing person,

Was never their concern,

When a kid turns to Adult, their thoughts get worried,

But they never understood when our dream got buried,

Because dream word was never related to real life,

So they asked us to kill the dream with a knife,

When we are not ready to take a good care of us,

They want us to get involved in marriage fuss,

And when we get old, we see ourselves as nothing,

But as a piece of slave that did nothing.

Moral- So fight for your dreams, society is not gonna live your life, only you'll have to live it.
