Tick Tock

Tick tock listen to the shots 

They have forgot 

They sensed an overwhelmed fear

Their throat starts to swell

They face severe cases of injury

They fight for our freedom 

But they will never be free

They yearn for their buddies 

That died there

They scream in the night 

As the battle still roars 

They lie in their bed 

And re-live all the horror

Nobody heard the fight

Yet they still fight 

Except for their mom 

Who comforts them every night? 

They will never be that son

That they used to know 

The war of cries killed that part 

For freedom, for you and others

They are strong men 

One that is brave and true 

They are not afraid of dying 

They fight for me and you
