Those Days
Those Days
Those were the days when the world was mine,
I was on my bicycle and everything was just fine.
I had every reason to smile,
Never bothered for how many miles,
Inseparable were, me and my friends,
Our laughter and chats had no end.
Sarcastic comments, jokes and what not,
We were tied together with an invisible knot.
Birthday parties, annual days and Christmas celebrations,
Our get together only needed a few reservations.
Together we will stay was the promise,
Our ways will never separate whatever happens,
We challenged each other for the cycle race,
Our victory or defeat whatever was the case,
The friendship no one could break.
Now the times have changed,
Ways are separated and gone are the days,
The priorities are now different,
The people are not tolerant,
Friendship is limited only to messages,
No one wants to be disturbed with a call
But I can't forget the memories and relations of those days.
