This Year...

  So who said it was easy to keep old flames burning?

Even experts used divine help now and then.

 The easy part was to stay in and be brilliant like Rumi.

Harder much harder was to be the light dancing in the eyes 

Lights of hope require more faith than fuel

Of all leaps, the most dangerous is in the light of you.

 Regarding miracles, what is less explicable than 

Remaining alive through the long icy anguish of anger.

All lives long for freedom, only slightly less they fear it.

 In the end, longing in burns, not desire but fear.

 All of us are capable of keeping the fire burning.

Except for the fact what we had this year.
