FIRST GLIMPSE, FIRST DANCE
FIRST GLIMPSE, FIRST DANCE
The first glimpse of your face
Took the light of my eyes deep to
The core of your countenance;
To know as you knew that we both
Were made and sent for each other.
At first touch of you,
I knew you were
Sculpted to my arms’ embrace as we
Glided as one in musical magic’s
Movement to the body’s call of our
Bemused spirits’ wish.
So effortlessly and pleasurably we
Danced as playful birds suspended in
Flight and to life’s breathing of our
Energies real and memories sealed.
Thanks for the dance sweet gentleman,
And permit me to hold you once more
To our own spiritual rhythm and to
A music that is unending.
