Flowers

Flowers

If I could fly,

Like a fairy, deep into the sky,

And drape those bright silky ribbons,

Adorning the azure heavens, just to show,

I look like a rainbow.

But alas! I am no fairy.

At times, I am just too dreamy.

Puzzled, I glance down.

There, quivering their heads in glee, I find

Colours red, yellow, orange, purple and cream,

Striking flowers in my garden green.

Just like the rainbow in the sky,

Do I need to fly?
