Little Things Matters

In childhood used to borrow books from friends to read,

Got a small library at home now, I have no time to read.

A a kid with no money fancied going to restaurants for food,

Can dine at any restaurants now, but I still long for Mom's food.

Dreamt of buying room in Skyscraper while leaving in chawl,

Staying in Skyscraper now, I miss sense of belonging found in shawl.

I am happy with all the amenities around,

Miss the small things from which happiness was found.

Like...

From having lunch at neighbors place,

To entire gang having fun at friends place.

From all friends ganging up on one,

To against all odds standing up for one.

From dancing at events with no limits to exceed,

To being there in the hour of need.
