The Year Of 2020

 As another Georgian calendar draws to a close,

There was more to learn and admire, then we could ever aspire.

A special year for some, not so for some,

Some days, brought happiness unlimited,

Some days, loss and pain.

Many promises remain unfulfilled,

Those travel itineraries never saw the day.

Festivities and celebrations without the splendor and grandeur.

Yet, there is always something to be thankful,

We just a speck of dust, The Universe ever so powerful,

It taught what no teacher would ever do,

It, taught the teachers too.

Hold on tight to those loved,

Rest just random contacts.

Think before you speak,

Give before you take.

Growing old is mandatory,

Growing wise a choice to make.
