The Wise Man's Game

The Wise Man's Game

Chess, a wise man's game,

It's not easy and lame,

In the real world, it's nothing but politics,

How to win and whom to conquer,

Is the only thought of the players in the race.

The two parties stand opposite to each other,

One is the ruling, so the other opposite,

Their actions are that of a pawn,

Slow, steady and invisible,

Slowly they want to win over the Queen,

Such is the situation in politics.

At least the game of Chess ends,

But the politics don't,

At least the game of Chess is played with ethics,

But the positions aren't.

We must all be the pawns of the Government,

There should be only one King

And there should be only one winner.
