The Warrior Me
The Warrior Me
It was cold out here,
With nothing to hear,
The deafening silence,
Lighten my doubts in the world full of fallen angels.
In the middle of my deep slumber,
A red-eyed monster came to me running,
I tried to run a little bit farther,
But it still caught me like I’m nothing but a feather.
Noises can be heard,
It became louder and louder,
It rang in my head,
Whispered annoyingly, as I tried to cover my ear tightly.
Words full of spite, hate that I don’t like,
Works like a venom,
And a bitter poison,
Stabbing me like a knife, and breaking me like a glass.
Suddenly, a creeking door can be heard,
Silencing the monsters inside my head,
As the light slowly seeps the crack,
A small smile crept to my lips as I woke up.
I tried to catch my breath,
As I slowly feel good and great,
Satisfaction washed me,
At last, I overcome my fear, my past that I tried to run from, and all my worries.
I successfully defeat the monsters that have been hunting me,
As I wield my flaming sword of bravery,
Ready to face the monsters that life will throw me,
For the weak me, now became the warrior me!
