The Unspoken Love
The Unspoken Love
In the shadows of my heart, a whisper of regret,
For words left unspoken, a love unexpressed,
In the silence of my soul, a longing unmet,
A tale of desire, hidden deep in my chest.
The moments passed by, like grains of sand,
Regret now a companion, walking hand in hand,
If only I had voiced the love I hold so dear,
Perhaps the path we walked would be clear.
Remorse now lingers, a bittersweet song,
Of chances missed, of feelings gone wrong,
Yet in this sorrow, a lesson I find,
To speak my truth, to not leave love behind.
So let this poem be a vow, a pledge,
To share my heart's desires, not hedge,
For in the depths of remorse, a seed is sown,
To cherish love, to make it known.
