The unfortunate love

The unfortunate love

269

The sun adored the moon

not knowing he'll regret it soon

He helps her shine with the help of his light

While floating high in the sky like a kite

The moon liked the sun too

Could a love like this be this true

Though they loved each other in their hearts

Their love story would break into parts

They wished to come closer to each other

Even though they ought to move away further

The sun knew if they were to come close

Something would happen greater than all force

It would break them both

So they had to take an oath

They chose to stay away from each other

So god promised to let them have a love story like no other

Even though it distanced them

They still shine bright like a gem

Seeing the moon flourish

Was a sight the sun cherished

Even now, they watch each other from afar

Surrounding each other with millions of stars

Though fate divided them forever

This fate, for the sake of love they could endure
