Consequences Of My First Love
Consequences Of My First Love

A subtle attraction even after ages,
After an extended inertness like the sages,
You still rings a bell in my heart,
Draws my world apart.
Maybe this longing is sweet
For i now know that,
I am on the urge of being emotionally replete.
Even when you left,
My verses still etched your name,
Extinguished a flame,
Flame that burned my heart .
My poems, still portrayed your memories as an art.
Even though we were miles apart.
I was then just free as a bee who
Flew all around ,
A pious predator otherwise
With values too profound.
I just forgot the fact that...
Love was an just alluring lie that I was
Seeking among the Ugly truths
And rhythmless Verses of my poetry.
