The Unfinished Story

Life is a challenging journey,

For individuals many,

With a lot of uncertainty,

Few bestowed with bountiful blessings,

Some with hapless endings

The gruesome role played by destiny,

Is often uncanny,

Destiny shackles the flow,

Confers a bitter blow ;

All plans and dreams are shattered,

Thereby the spirit is also hampered,

Everything around becomes mundane,

When adversity becomes a bane,

Pinned up hopes and plans plenty,

Wrecked by destiny,

As life’s irony,

Castes its spell on many.

Hopes diminished,

Inscribing a story unfinished
