The Sweet and the Sore

The Sweet and the Sore

1 min

How sweet, tender lovely was

She after the birth, flapping,

Chirping, giggle often wetting

Taken lightly by all kith

And kin, comforting, swinging in

Their arm cradles, all the time,

The mother’s care, solace day-n-night

How affectionate her early days were !!!

Tiring, toiling, frustrating education,

Working, marriage, children, their

Overall development, quarrels, conflicts,

Social and family interests, problems,

Disasters, sickness, separations, ups

And downs, joys and the sorrows,

Prolong, sordid, unstable journey

With family and society in between

Her sudden death, paining take off,

Forever instantly restored

The early childhood love among

The people around, flourishing

Through deep sorrow of all

Who were left behind

Mourning, shedding tears, exhausting

Least bothering about the odds

In between the sweet beginning

And the inevitable sore end
