The shedded tree

There is something so beautiful the shredded tree that catches my eye,

It attracts me more than a flourishing green tree and I wonder why.

Maybe it's because of its a broken bit,

Oh, how broken does something have to be, to set your heart to it?

The sight seems calm and peaceful,

I find the bare branches so graceful.

I manage to stare at like it's an enchantress,

While it's the only thing on the land that stands disastrous.

What mesmerizes me is how it waits like a lover for spring,

Not sure if the fallen leaves were a sign of death or a new beginning.

But I don’t see an end, I see life and possibilities,

The leaves that shed were beautiful at their time and there might be a chance of variabilities.

The branches had let go to embrace the future,

The tree had put its faith in nature.

Maybe that is what had made it my muse,

It taught me that it must be worth it to lose.
