Mystery Of Life

Then there was neither non-existent nor existent,

Then there was no realm of air, no sky beyond it.

What covered in, and where? and what gave shelter?

Was water there, unfathomed depth of water?

Darkness there was in the beginning no doubt,

Concealed in darkness was unimaginable and total chaos !

All that existed then was void and formless,

By the great power (shakti) of warmth was born that "single entity" !

Who verily knows and who can declare it,

Whence it was born and whence originated this creation?

SHE, the first origin of this creation, whether SHE formed it all !

Whose eye controls this world in highest heaven,

SHE verily knows it, or perhaps SHE knows it not !
