The Rose And The Thorn
The Rose And The Thorn
Dear Rose
You are beauty par excellence,
Lovers throng to you,
you are charming,
You are amazing
In the sunlight you are dazzling,
the sweet smell wafting through air.
Bees are hovering, love showering,
singing just be there.
You are smiling
You are scattering
Love all around
To you all are bound.
This symbol nowhere found.
Dear thorn
You are prickly
You are hurting
Lovers hate you.
Yet nature loves you,
for duties to you are assigned.
Your protection, your devotion,
is the reason
Roses bloom in season.
You both are made for each other.
