The Quiet Place Within

The Quiet Place Within

I walked beyond the noise and flame,
Past temples built in heaven’s name,
Through silent woods where rivers pray,
And found my soul had lost its way.

No scripture sang, no church bell rang,
Yet in the hush, the cosmos sang—
A voice not loud, but clear and near,
A whisper only hearts can hear.

I asked the stars, “What am I for?”
They blinked, then breathed, “You are much more.”
Not just this skin, this breath, this bone—
But stardust stitched with seeds unknown.

I knelt not down, but stood up tall,
To feel the sacred in it all—
In tear and laugh, in wind and flame,
In brokenness that bears no name.

The light I chased was never far,
It lived inside each hidden scar.
The path to God is not a line—
It curves through wounds and turns in time.

So now I sit, still, not alone—
My spirit more than blood and bone.
No need to climb, no need to roam—
The quiet place within… is home.
