The Prison Shadow
The Prison Shadow
Share my extravagant emotions to the willow -night;
Cooed me in solidary Prison along my shadow,
By It's shattered legs unfurl slowly like wildfire.
It frets the Warder over and above.
Walls have been my close friends,
They teach me some courtesy lessons ;
that to know this world is for words.
I can hear the smell of heavenly missions.
Each Iron bars ask me a question, why can't
you whip us?
You clumsy oaf! Don't know thy neighbour!
Would you like to shake our hands,
For men may come and may go, you are not here forever.
In cold days my tears fused like icicles!
My half-smile touches the shabby- floor,
My cries meet the ocean's tempest!
The Sheer bliss hugs walls' soul!
A beam of light passes to me through a tiny nest.
I can't stop the light, arrest or trace,
Only if I were faster than the light;
I don't know whether I win the contest or race,
To be a warrior against injustice would I decide.
Now, I have the world of my own within the walls,
Besides, there is another world walls behind.
Nothing to do whether the world stays or falls,
The prison- shadow continues till someone mighty come.
