The Pianist
The Pianist
Walking down the street
Suddenly I felt a repel.
A revolt from my own body
My feet
They have refused to move
In a state of shock.
Something knocked my eardrums
That regained my senses.
Vocals so calm and serene
That made my feet start moving towards the direction of music.
Reaching the basement of the building
I stand awestruck
Hearing the notes of the piano
Playing my song.
Tears rolled down my eyes
With each key playing
My heartbeat synced to it
And, the brain replaying the old memories
Of me on the keyboard
A while after
Seeing me standing at a distance
Pianist walks towards me
And, my eyes betrayed
Revealing the secret
Of me as an old pianist
Which people wish to hear since ages.
But as the overcoat was called off
The entire room was stunning
Seeing their favorite piano player
Without her fingers to play.
