The Lost World

The Lost World

A Wonderful Universe, dreams of an alluring life has somewhere dissipated,

Everything looks blanched without any hope of a new beginning,

Frolicking with friends and family seems a distant dream,

Persistent fear of a pandemic; trepidation of natural calamities has set in,

The rich flora and fauna finds no admirers,

Boulevard deserted and people prefer to be safe by locking themselves in,

Offerings, prayers, and a plethora of questions go unanswered by the deity,

Blessings have taken the form of punishment for the sins committed to hefty.
