The Lankesh
The Lankesh
I'm the Rakshasa king
Lanka, I hold my kingdom
The admired devotee of the Shiva
Yes, I’m the King Ravana
History will never witness
Cruelty, I am the anger
Red, my burning blood
I shout, with ten head
Power, withhold I’m the thunder
Wisdom the light, I’m a scholar
Music, the art I pursed
Ravanhattha, the instrument I used
Strength, to lift the Mount Kailasa,
Devotion, to the almighty lord Shiva,
One among the supreme brahmana,
I’m the King Ravana, Grandson of Lord Brahma
Time shifts, destiny changes
Darkness and devil overpower shades
Negative vibes, hate, and Curses
Ram-Yatra enchanted the rituals
Weakness, I tried to withstand
Devil within, started to demand
Destruction rooted itself, meta
I lost myself to, Devi Sita
Blood drops for a reason
We are here because of that reason
Will shed the last drop of blood,
To secure every love behind doors
Eyes turning red
I felt myself changing toward bad
Can't find a reason and don't know why??
Like if someone else is playing my game to die
Wanted to survive, but don't know how
Feared of emptiness, but not ready to show
Eyes searching for someone, but don't know who
The silence around, and I can hear my blood flow
Ready to tear things apart,
But I couldn't myself around
Not ready to accept the truth
As if I am ruling this mighty world
Lots of red blood, Crawling future
Black and dark, surround a rupture
Drought, thirst, burnt life in the fire
How to fix this?? Whom to hire??
Howling wolf, Walking Dead
Sounds threatening of, being killed
What you say defines the reality, you
Destiny sticks with, like glue
It's a play that we are all a part of
Just get on with it,
just move on
I want to be that trader
but the world feels me a dreamer
Caring to be self, though it doesn't matter
When it matters the most
Life flows as time, just join the game
Chanted hymns of Shiva, hymns of Rama
At that moment, I thought
If seen tomorrow somehow
I will look up at the sky
And live along with this feeling
Until I breathe myself out
Silent like hell, no matter what happens
You are not alone and I am not the only one
I always hold my kingdom, Lanka
Yes, I’m the mighty King Ravana
